Eastwood Centre Carpark re-opens

Eastwood shops and shoppers celebrated the official re-opening of the car traffic ramp to Eastwood Shopping Centre parking area on Saturday 5 November by the Mayor of Ryde Clr Artin Etmekdjian following a disastrous fire earlier this year in the Centre. The Chamber is delighted to see the ramp re-opened and regular shoppers given the opportunity to park as before and enjoy their shopping experience at the Centre.

Mayor Cr Etmekdjian cut the ribbon to officially open the ramp with help from Eastwood Chamber members Vice President Ricky Lui and Committee Member Hugh Lee as well as Brad Chan from Eastwood Shopping Centre. Cr Justin Li, TWT Miss Eastwood Granny Smith Festival Queen Tamara Jones, 2010 Ryde Citizen of the Year Caroline Yi Xu and Tai Chi Master Cheung joined in the ceremony.

Jin Woo Koon Kung Fu Academy Lion Dancers gave a celebratory performance in Eastwood Plaza.
