We hold monthly meetings which give members an opportunity to promote their business to other members and discuss issues which affect the local business and community life.

These meetings are usually on the second Monday of each month. Meetings are hosted by members on their premises and commence at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start. Refreshments are served and the meetings generally finish at around 7:30pm. On occasions our meetings are arranged on a Monday morning, commencing at 7.30am for 1 hour.

Our meetings follow a structured agenda yet are renowned for the relaxed atmosphere in which they are conducted. They provide the ideal opportunity for members to network, share ideas and aim for common goals.

These meetings are frequently attended by our local councillors and Eastwood Police. The Eastwood Chamber has regular meetings with the local police and City of Ryde and provides our members with an effective channel of communication on local issues.

For upcoming meetings, see our Events calendar.

Local liquor accord

The Eastwood Chamber of Commerce has members who attend the local liquor accord. All licenced premises within our area are welcome to join this accord which discusses issues pertaining to the sale and consumption of alcohol. The meetings are also attended by Eastwood police.  If you would like more information about the work of this group, we could put you in touch with the relevant member.

Eastwood promotions

The Eastwood Chamber of Commerce is actively involved in promoting Eastwood businesses within the local area of Ryde and the wider Sydney basin.

Committee members of the chamber represent Eastwood businesses on the Lunar New Year committee, the Granny Smith festival and the Eastwood Promotions committee.

The chamber is now considering the production of an Eastwood Shopping Guide or an Eastwood Food guide. This guide is intended to be distributed around specified areas of Sydney. Our intention is to increase the visitors into Eastwood to experience our many shopping and dining options. The first opportunity to advertise in this booklet will be made available to members of the Eastwood Chamber of Commerce.
